Indications

Oxydendron arboreum is a rare and valuable homoeopathic medicine prepared from the fresh leaves of the Oxydendron arboreum , commonly known as Sourwood or Sorrel-tree, belonging to the Ericaceae family. This medicine is particularly known for its ability to relieve severe dropsical conditions, including ascites and anasarca, especially when other medicines fail. Its clinical importance lies in its use in post-infectious dropsy, especially following measles, and cases marked by suppressed urine, difficulty breathing, and general fluid retention.
