Indications

Natrum cacodylicum is a significant homoeopathic medicine prepared from the sodium salt of cacodylic acid, a compound containing over 54% metallic arsenic. Despite its past reputation as a “non-poisonous” tonic for phthisis, clinical experience has revealed its potent physiological action, especially on the respiratory system, mucous membranes, nervous system, and skin. It is particularly suited to wasting diseases such as consumption, marked by emaciation, offensive secretions, and sudden onset of alarming systemic symptoms.
