Indications

Hydrastinum is a potent homoeopathic medicine derived from the first isolated alkaloid of Hydrastis canadensis (Golden Seal) , combined with muriatic acid. This preparation belongs to the alkaloidal class of medicines and shows a marked affinity for mucous membranes , especially in conditions involving ulceration , ozæna , and aphthous states . It is particularly beneficial in cases of malignant or simple ulcerations , cancerous lesions , and chronic nasal and oral discharges .
