Indications

Hydrastinum is a potent homoeopathic medicine derived from the first isolated alkaloid of Hydrastis canadensis (Golden Seal) , combined with muriatic acid. This preparation belongs to the alkaloidal class of medicines and shows a marked affinity for mucous membranes , especially in conditions involving ulceration , ozæna , and aphthous states . It is particularly beneficial in cases of malignant or simple ulcerations , cancerous lesions , and chronic nasal and oral discharges . Common Name:  Muriate of Hydrastia SBL’s Hydrastinum can be helpful in the following conditions: Mouth Ulcers & Aphthous Conditions • Hydrastinum is indicated in aphthous sore mouth with painful ulceration of mucosa , especially in children and debilitated patients. • Used for simple or malignant ulcers inside the mouth, gums, or soft palate. • Supports tissue repair and pain reduction in cancerous oral lesions when used locally.
