Gnaphalium uliginosum , prepared from the Marsh Cudweed, belongs to the Compositæ family. In homoeopathy, it has been recognized for its usefulness in gastro-intestinal catarrh, diarrhoea, urinary troubles, and nervous exhaustion . It shows a soothing action on mucous membranes and nerves, with a tendency to relieve irritation, colicky pains, and prostration.
