Ammonium iodatum indications

Ammonium iodatum is indicated for headaches and respiratory infections such as laryngitis and bronchitis, catarrhal pneumonia and edema of lungs.

Ammonium iodatum uses

• It is useful in treating conditions like dull headache, especially in young people with heavy and swollen face, stupor, heaviness of the head and vertigo. It also used to treat Meniere's disease.
• It is indicated for dry hacking cough after every cold with laryngitis and hoarseness of voice.
• It can be given after iodine has partially relieved its cases of laryngitis and bronchitis, catarrhal pneumonia and edema of lungs.

Dosage & Directions for Use

It is to be taken as an internal medicine. Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once a week, month or even in a longer period.
