Indications
This remedy has marked influence on the spleen and liver, and is generally a left-sided remedy. Chronic infection of lungs and inflammation of bronchi, with profuse mucus secretions. It is also indicated in increased blood pressure and to arrest bleeding. Increased leucocytes in the circulating blood due to disorder of spleen. Abdomen: Marked enlargement of spleen with inflammation, and pain on the left side of the abdomen. Deep-seated pain in the abdomen and difficult breathing from hypertrophy of spleen. Female: Menses profuse with yellowish discharge from vagina, with great weakness. Unable to lie on left side. Pain in the region of liver and back. Rectum: Diarrhea with bearing down pain in abdomen and rectum. Urine: Constant urging to urinate. Greenish, frothy urine, with passage of bile and sugar. Modalities: Worse from motion and lying on left side. Dosage: Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period.
