This remedy is very useful in exhausting fevers and illnesses with severe mental exhaustion followed by physical weakness. It is indicated in indigestion with heartburns, flatulence, diarrhea, diabetes, rickets, neuralgia in stumpafter amputation and periosteal inflammation. Mind: Restless, apathetic, indifferent with weak memory. Difficulty in collecting his thoughts, understanding or finding the right word. Complaints from grief and mental shock. Head: Heaviness of head with pain as if temples were crushed together. Crushing headache with pressure on top. Hairfall and premature graying of hairs. Headache after coition and from eye-strain and vertigo in the evening, when standing or walking. Eyes: Eyelids inflamed and cold with blue rings around the eyes. Pupils dilated with glassy appearance and photophobia. Pain as if eyeballs were forcibly pressed together and into head. Ears: Very sensitive to noise with roaring and difficult hearing. Nose: Bleeding from the nose from repeated boring of fingers into nose with itching. Mouth: Lips dry and cracked with bleeding gums and swollen tongue with viscid, frothy mucus in mouth. Loss of sexual power with tender, swollen testicles and relaxed parts during an embrace. Eczematous eruptions on the scrotum. Edema of the prepuce and glans-penis. Vesicular eruptions on the prepuce and warty growths on the genitalia. Female: Menses too early and profuse, with itching, yellowish discharges after menses. Milk scanty with weakness from nursing. Respiratory: Hoarseness of voice and dry cough from tickling in chest with salty expectoration. Difficulty in breathing with weak feeling in chest from talking and pressure behind the sternum. Heart: Weak heart with palpitation in children who grow too fast with irregular and intermittent pulse. Back: Bruised feeling in the back with boring pain between the scapulae. Extremities: Weakness of limbs with tearing pains in joints, bones, and periosteum. Cramps in upper arms and wrists. Pains especially at night, as if bones were scraped. Itching in between the fingers or in folds of the joints. Skin: Eruptions such as pimples, acne, blood-boils, rashes and ulcers with fetid pus. Tingling and crawling sensation in various parts. Falling out of the hair. Sleep: Sleepiness with Lewd dreams and involuntary emissions. Fever: Profuse sweat during night and morning. Low types of fever with chills and stupor. Modalities: Better from warmth. Worse from exertion and sexual excesses. Dosage: Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period.
