Indications

It is generally indicated in rheumatic pains which are semi lateral with rigidity and sensibility. The pains are wandering, sometimes on one side and sometime on the other. The pains are stinging, lacerating and sharp with lameness. There is jerking, trembling and paralytic weakness of extremities. The debility is in the morning with inclination to lie down. There is great fear of bodily and mental exertion. The nights are restless and sleepy the whole day. The sufferings are increased by change of weather and sudden depression of atmospheric temperature and approach of a storm. Head: The head feels heavy and full. The pain is semi lateral in the temple region. The headache is worse when lying down, movement and stooping. The pain is dull aching with pain in the neck. Eyes: The eyes are painful and heavy with smarting in the eyelids. There is heat and itching in the eyelids. It is indicated in inflammation of the conjunctiva with redness and swelling of eyelids. The vision is disturbed with photophobia. Ears: The ears are hot and swollen with pain in one ear. It is indicated in inflammation of parotid gland. Nose: The nostrils are itching with eruptions. The nose bleeds in the morning. The discharge is fluent, and burning with headache. Face: The complexion is pale and yellow. The eruptions are red, itching and burning. The lips are dry. The skin is excoriated, smarting and burning in the forehead and face with pimples. Mouth: The saliva is increased with fetid breath. The ulcers on the mouth are burning and smarting. The tongue is coated yellow with pricking, burning and redness at the tip of tongue. Gastric: The eructations are empty. The stomach is burning preceded by burning in the throat. The nausea is with faintness followed by general chilliness and perspiration. Skin: There is general feeling of heat in the skin. Itching is in various parts of the skin. The eruptions are itching, burning and pricking. The eruptions are hard, red and itching. The parts affected are swollen, red and inflamed. The eruptions are of vesicular type. The pimples are watery, itching, bleeding and scabby. The eruptions are worse in warm weather. Dosage: Please note that the dosage of single homoeopathic medicines varies from drug to drug depending upon the condition, age, sensitivity and other things. In some cases they are given as regular doses as 3-5 drops 2-3 times a day whereas in other cases they are given only once in a week, month or even in a longer period.
