Berberis vulgaris :

The renal or vesical symptoms predominate. – Pain in small of back; very sensitive to touch in renal region; < when sitting and lying, from jar, from fatigue.
Bilious colic, followed by jaundice; clay-colored stools Renal colic, < left side
Biliary and urinary calculi. Colic, pains from gall-bladder to epigastrium; bilious; along ureter, arresting breathing; renal .

Dosage : 10-15 drops in 1/4th cup of water, 3 times a day. In acute exacerbation, frequent repetition of dose is recommended every  hour to 2 hours in luke warm water, or as prescribed by the physician.
